As I noticed, this place is not as crowded as any other tourist spot in Sapporo. I don’t even have much information about this park, and on our itinerary, we must stay here for an hour and then head to Tsu Dome (The third venue of the snow festival). I was wrong when we came here, the park is huge and offers a lot of fun activities plus the rental fees of their equipment are cheaper compared to others. We ended up canceling our trip to Tsu Dome and decided to play here instead.
We walk around the famous Glass pyramid also known as the “Hidamari” for free and enjoy reading the amazing history of the park. Later we found out that Moerenuma Park was a former waste disposal site and was transformed into an art park. In my mind, I suddenly remembered the “Hakone Open-air Museum” in Hakone.

Beside the canal are beautiful warehouses lined up, but today they are being converted into shops and cafes. I highly suggest you tour around Sakaimachi during the day and then take an evening cruise.
