Some of my favorite Japan memories aren't from famous attractions. They're ordinary train rides, quiet streets, neighborhood cafés and places I discovered simply because I lived nearby.

I called Kawagoe home for three years, and living here has completely changed the way I travel around Japan. I hope Travel Journal helps you discover some of those experiences too.
