The Tokunai Pass, also known as the JR Tokyo Metropolitan 1 Day Pass, is a discounted ticket furnished by Japan Railways (JR) East. For ¥760, you can enjoy unlimited rides using non-reserved seats in ordinary cars of ordinary trains (including rapid trains) in the 23 wards of central Tokyo for 1 day.

How to buy Tokyo Metropolitan Pass (Tokunai pass) ?

You can buy this at the ticket vending machine.

 

step 1:  Change the language to ENGLISH.

step 2:  Select “Discounted ticket”.

step 3:  “Purchase discounted tickets”

step 4:  Select ” Tokyo Metropolitan District Pass”.

step 5:  Select which date you want to use the ticket.

step 6:  Select how many tickets you’ll buy.

step 7:  VERIFY the pass to buy and select CONFIRM.

step 8:  Pay.

step 9:  Wait for your ticket.
